Went straight to Manchester to meet up with girlie’s after work on Friday, while walking to our chosen destination and discussing our latest new project/business/conquering the world ideas we noticed something which at first glance would not be put in thecategory weird or strange, I noticed a large group of male hoodies cycling on the road what followed behind them was definitely cause for not only concern but several cringe induced bouts of hysterical laughter. What followed was a troupe of full blown Naked cyclists, now when I say Naked I mean Naked. After the hysterics stopped the sensible in me returned and my thoughts turned to the practicleness of it (either I’m getting old or I am jealous that I can not add naked cycling to the list of thing to tell the grandchildren). Surly it must of hurt their bits? What about the other drivers on the road? I t would have been really hard not to gawp in amazement whether you were driving or not. To be fair in these health and safety,paranoid, compensation windlin times Im supprised they were aloud to do it at all. I have since found out that the bike ride wasorganised by Mancubist which is is a website about Manchester. Issues dealt with on the website include include culture, art, music, media and technology. Although still recovering from the images of the (cold) naked cyclists I left town that night with a slight sence of hope, that even in Manchester (its not exactly the revolution capital of the world) people are willing to put what they believe in into action, hopefully I will one day listen to my own words.
